The fastest way... is slowly

The paradox of healing. And life.

When it comes to healing...

I get it. A part of you wishes you were healed yesterday already.

“There’s no time to waste, we gotta fix this hot mess!”

And with that, we want to rush our process. Get to things quickly so we can get the results quickly.

But healing, whether emotional or physical, happens slowly. Step by step.

The nervous system starts to get into survival mode when you go too fast, have too much, or do things too soon.

And with that kind of thing you can find setbacks, incomplete processing, or even feel wounded all over again.

Go slow because the fastest way to where you’re going is slowly....

Take your time, you’ll get there.
