There are sometimes parts within us that don’t feel good: anxious parts, timid parts, fearful parts, angry parts, parts that want to hide, parts that struggle to state what you want…

And in other corners of ourselves, parts can get upset about those parts. They say things like, ‘why are you so broken? Why can’t you just live life fully? We’re missing out!’

And a battle can ensue. Tension. 

Plus all the original pain of whatever you’re dealing with.

There is a way to bring all these parts together into harmony AND find your power — to get your SELF into the CEO seat of your life and get momentum. 

To embody this Self means coming home to your wholeness, power and ease.

This is the work of Internal Family Systems (IFS), guided by mindful-somatics.

In this 6-part group coaching series, WHOLE SELF invites you to connect with the parts of yourself that hold pain, fear, negative self-talk, or disconnection, and gently integrate them into a harmonious whole. Together, in a group of 6-9 participants, we’ll explore how your body and (sub-conscious) mind work together to create a sense of balance, healing, and inner wholeness.

IN THIS GROUP COACHING SERIES, YOU CAN:

  • Not get taken over in the same way
    When anxiety, shutdown, or low mood comes in, it doesn’t completely run the show, you have more space to respond, not just react

  • Get out of loops of overthinking or avoidance
    Less going in circles, more ability to make a decision and move forward

  • Have less inner fighting, more internal cooperation
    Parts of you aren’t constantly pulling in opposite directions and things start to feel more aligned inside

  • Have a different relationship with heavy or stuck states
    Instead of “I’m stuck like this”, it becomes something you can meet, understand, and move with

    Less “what’s wrong with me?” and more understanding of why you feel and act the way you do

  • Feel more steady in your body
    Less bracing, tension, or shutdown and more presence, grounding, and capacity

    Not getting stopped at the same point every time and being able to take steps, even when parts of you feel unsure

  • Understand your patterns at a deeper level
    Seeing how different parts are trying to help and not feeling confused by your own reactions anymore

  • More trust in yourself
    Less second-guessing so decisions feel clearer and more grounded

  • A way of working with yourself you can keep using
    Not needing more thinking or more “figuring it out”, but having a process you can return to when things come up

  • More space for ease, connection, and aliveness
    Being less dominated by protective patterns and more access to how you actually want to feel and live

HOW IT WORKS:

We meet live on Zoom, once a week for six 2-hour sessions (groups are small: 8–12 people).

Each session includes:

  • Guided somatic practices

  • IFS-informed parts work

  • Nervous system pyschoeducation and practice

  • Partnered or small group processes

  • Integration tools to support you between sessions

  • Optional check-ins and support from the group & me

  • Recordings of teaching (not group work)

WHO’S FACILITATING?

Caitlyn Cook works internationally as a mindful-somatic practitioner and facilitator informed by Internal Family Systems. With a focus on trauma-informed nervous system ‘parts’ work, Caitlyn works with people to heal trauma and knotty issues in their mind, relationships, family, intimacy and purpose. Her influences include mindfulness, meditation, Bwiti (an African wisdom tradition), Tantra, psychodrama, nature, and ritual. She’s recently been based in Gabon, Africa studying the Bwiti tradition. Caitlyn is also a facilitator with ISTA, an international school for sacred sexual shamanism.
